Production

Once the raw and inspected fat has been assessed by our professional workers, we store and transport our product in refrigerated trucks. This ensures its quality and freshness before, during and after being processed.

When the fat arrives in our factory, we check the meat once more for any abnormalities and place it on a conveyor belt where it is heated, cut into portions and sent to the grinder. We do this to keep the product safe for consumption once processed and for satisfactory hygiene in the working enviroment at our factory.

The fatty tissue is placed in a large boiler tank to melt and extract the melted product from the fat to another area to create our different kinds of lard.

The separated product is deposited in a precooler to filter and thoroughly extract any remaining sediments. The unneeded sediments are transported to a different storage for reuse in another product.

Our lard is then packed and stored in refrigerated chambers for preservation before being sold locally, nationally and internationally.

 

Products

Leaf Lard (Lard) : Fat obtained from pork flare fat. Very versatile product, it can be used for the traditional and industrial baking industries as well as for pre-cooked, frozen dishes, cured and roasted products. We manufacture it in different hardnesses depending on the client's needs and applications. The blocks of lard weigh 10, 15 or 20 kg and are protected in a plastic bag inside the box.

Leaf Lard Crackling : 

The solid part obtained from the fusion process of pork flare fat. They can be whole or crushed for use in cocas or chicharrones cakes. Each box weighs 5 or 10kg. depending on what you, the customer, ask for

Sweetened Lard :

Fat obtained from pork flare fat, which incorporates the % of sugar that the client needs. Its main use is for industrial processes. Each block has a weight of 15 kg and is protected by a plastic bag.

The blocks can be served in box or pallet box format.

 Liquid Lard: Pork lard made exclusively from pork flare fat as the only ingredient, that comes to us from approved slaughterhouses, is preserved in a liquid state at a temperature of 60ºC.

Refined lard: lard from approved refineries that is fully deodorized and neutral in flavor. It is sold in a 20 kg block format, although it can be manufactured in other formats.

Iberico Lard :  High-quality lard that is characterized by being a tasty product, obtained from the fat of the acorn-fed Iberian pigs. Its texture is soft and creamy, with a bright white color and firm consistency. It is not only used in pastry, but also used in cooking to improve the juiciness and flavor of various dishes. Perfect for baking, roasting and frying.
